Alec Baldwin Says He Found Love After He Gave Up, Would ‘Be Heaven’ To Have More Kids

Alec Baldwin would love to expand his family.
While discussing his happiness with girlfriend Hilaria Thomas on “Piers Morgan Tonight” on Wednesday, the British host asked the “30 Rock” star if he’d like to have more children.
“Have I thought about having more kids? Oh sure, that would be great, that would be heaven, that would be fantastic,” Alec told Piers, who two months ago welcomed a new daughter to his own British brood.
Alec then went on to make a joke about his potential plans to have more children later in life. (His daughter Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, is now 16.)
“As my friend said to me, ‘When you have children, typically in a second marriage, when you’re older and you get married again to a woman who would have children, you must always remember that you make sure [the children] attend a college where the commencement ceremonies are held in a facility with a wheelchair accessible ramp,’” Alec added, tongue-in-cheek.
The actor also addressed dating a younger woman – Hilaria, a yoga instructor, is 27, while he is 53.
Alec revealed he actually sought advice from Tony Bennett, who is married to a much younger woman by several decades, wife Susan Crow.
“I said to Tony, ‘I’m dating a woman who is… younger than I am — she’s a lot younger than I am — and I sometimes think about that and I know, Tony, you’re with Susan and you’re quite a bit older than her,’” Alec recounted. “And he looked at me and he goes, ‘Yeah, people say that to me all the time and I say to them, ’Consider the alternative.’”

Though small in stature, 4'5" actor Peter Dinklage loomed large on both stage and screen. Following his feature film debut in "Living In Oblivion" (1995), where he played an actor who castigates Steve Buscemi's character for making him play a dwarf, Dinklage amassed an impressive resume devoid of clichéd roles. Though most actors his height embraced roles that mocked or stereotyped dwarfism - most famously Verne Troyer in the "Austin Powers" series - Dinklage instead played his characters - not as cruel caricatures - but entirely human.

Gwyneth Paltrow - Battle with depression

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow admits that depression she went through following the death of her father and birth of her son was good as it helped put her life in perspective. The emotional turmoil in the actress’ personal life left the Oscar winner suffering postpartum depression after baby Moses was born in 2006.

“I didn’t know really what was wrong with me... It changed me,” Paltrow told Vanity Fair magazine. “It was great because it also became so clear to me what was important to me. At that time I just had no interest in career whatsoever. My agents would be like, ‘This is getting weird. If you don’t (get) re-engaged everyone’s gonna forget about you.’ I was like, ‘I don’t care. I’m not leaving the babies’. It was so worth it,” she added.

Heigl to adopt again?

Actress Katherine Heigl, who is already raising a three-year-old adopted daughter Naleigh, plans to adopt another child. The New Year’s Eve actress, who raises the girl with husband Josh Kelley, says the couple is keen to give a home to child before trying for biological kids, reports showbizspy.com.

“Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged. We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I’d like to adopt again,” said Heigl. The 33-year-old star admitted she loved daughter Naleigh from the moment she was put into her arms.

“Anyone who doesn’t have experience with adoption wonders, ‘Does love for a child come through DNA?’ You love them the moment they’re put into your arms. Josh had to learn that, but he was so gracious and accepting,” she said.

Katherine Heigl: 'I'd Like To Adopt Again'

Adoption has become a pretty popular thing in the celebrity world (I mean, look at Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's ever-growing collection of kids). It's admirable, life-fulfilling, and a way to give a child a new, loving home. And the list of celeb adoptions only continues to grow. Even though Katherine Heigl recently blogged about being a failed mother, the actress recently confessed that she's seriously thinking about adopting another child.

In the February issue of Scholastic Parent & Child, Heigl opens up about her plans for the future, telling the magazine, “We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I’d like to adopt again.” I guess that's not too surprising since adoption has always been a big priority for the star. In fact, she even started thinking about it well before she was ever married to her husband, Josh Kelley. Heigl admits, “Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged," and now since they're so happy with their three-year-old daughter, Naleigh, they want to expand their family even more.

It's definitely exciting news, although I doubt it's going to really help her with that whole family vs. career balancing act she's been trying to figure out. I guess this will just give her more to blog about.

Scarlett Johansson - Mom over money

Scarlett Johansson’s representative has dismissed rumours the actress has fallen out with her mother over her finances, insisting the pair enjoys a “solid and loving” relationship.

Johansson’s mother, Melanie Sloan, hit headlines when it was revealed she will be sued by her daughter for the return of a house deposit after she failed to secure a mortgage deal.

Subsequent reports suggested Sloan fell out with her daughter over money recently, but Johansson’s spokesperson is adamant rumours of a rift are not true, reports contactmusic.com.

Scarlett and Melanie are as close and are incredibly proud of the  productive professional partnership they had through the many years they worked together,” the rep told gossip column PageSix.

Meet Moore’s new toyboy - Demi Moore

Demi Moore raised eyebrows when she stepped out with a handsome young man on Saturday. She seems to have moved on after her split with husband Ashton Kutcher as she was spotted hanging out with a personal trainer.

Meanwhile, Demi, who has become increasingly thinner in the wake of her split, recently opened up about her fears and heartache in an interview with US Harper’s Bazaar.Demi said, “What scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved. That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me.”                                                                       Agency

Palace officials have released a statement saying she would mark her birthday with a “low-key and private” affair.

Angelina Jolie Picks bosnian Actress For lead Role In Her Directorial Debut

Angelina Jolie has chosen young Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic for the lead role in her directorial debut — a wartime love story between a Bosnian woman and a Serbian man.

Marjanovic told the Associated Press on Thursday that the screenplay was “fabulous” and she could not wait to start shooting with such a “great actress and humanist” like Jolie.

The 27-year-old actress said she was on her way to Hungary to prepare for the film shoot beginning later this year and take place both in Hungary and Bosnia.

Jolie has visited Bosnia twice this year — as UNHCR good will ambassador and to scout for her movie — and had promised she would cast only actors from the region. Marjanovic became known after her prominent role in award winning “Snow” by Bosnian director Aida Begic.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption She may be a blogs fixture for her hair, clothes or figure, but “The Voice’s” lone lady coach, Christina Aguilera, is totally comfortable in her own skin.
“I’ve been in this for a long time. I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. ‘You can never be too much of anything. You can never be too prefect, too thin, too curvy, too voluptuous,’ this, that. I’ve been on all sides of the spectrum.. [Every] female in this business at one time or another has had criticism… and I’m always a risk taker too,” Christina said on Friday during NBC’s “The Voice” panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Pasadena.

“I’m very confident in my body,” the singer continued. “I think my video works over the years have spoken to that… I’ve been no stranger to being very comfortable in my own skin,” she added.
Christina said despite the “massive scrutiny,” she’s happy and her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, loves her curves.

“As long as I’m happy in my own skin, that’s all I need, that’s all the confirmation I need. I’m happy where I am, I have a boyfriend love that loves my body, I love my body, my son is healthy and happy.

That’s all that matters,” she said.

The blonde said she also enjoys mentoring her “Voice” female team members, sharing her own experiences with body image and style criticisms.

“Being in a position to coach these young girls, is really a great thing for me to be able to share that with them, and also sharing my highs and lows along the way. I’m very open on the show about all of that,” she said.

In related “The Voice” news, show host and producer Carson Daly noted that when the show does return, it will feature a more unique crop of contestants than seen previously.

“Season 1 hit the air and people aspiring to be in this space didn’t really know what to make of ‘The Voice,’ where it sat with the other competition shows, thought they knew, didn’t want to sit in the cattle call, but what happened was the level of talent in Season 1 was so high… when [we] went in early for Season 2…. working musicians … maybe [people] signed to a small label, people who really want to make it, who never would have stood in line for any other show came out,” he said. “Whatever you thought of Season 1, this [new talent crop] is way, way, way higher.”
